In Short

subsLexa is a privacy-focused, offline-first subscription tracker. Most of the information you enter is stored locally on your device. We do not sell your personal information.

Some features, such as Cloud Backup, require you to sign in with your email address. In addition, if advertising is enabled in the app, Google AdMob may collect certain device and advertising-related information to display and measure advertisements, as described below.

Information We Collect

Information Stored on Your Device

The app stores the information you create locally on your device, including:

Subscription names
Subscription costs
Billing cycles
Renewal dates and reminders
Categories and notes
App preferences (such as currency, theme, and notification settings)

This information remains on your device unless you choose to use Cloud Backup.

Optional Cloud Backup

If you enable Cloud Backup, we collect:

Email address – used only to authenticate your account using a one-time sign-in code.
Backup data – an encrypted backup of your subscription data so it can be restored on another device.

Cloud Backup is completely optional. You can continue using subsLexa without creating an account.

Advertising

If the app displays advertisements, we use Google AdMob to provide advertising services.

Google AdMob and its partners may automatically collect certain information, including:

Device identifiers (such as the Advertising ID)
IP address
Device information
App interaction information
Advertising performance data

Depending on your country, applicable laws, and your consent choices, advertisements may be personalized or non-personalized.

Information We Do Not Collect

Except for optional Cloud Backup and advertising services described above, we do not collect:

Your contacts
Your photos
Your messages
Your financial accounts
Your payment card information
Your precise location

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

How We Use Your Information

We use information only to:

Operate the app.
Store your data locally.
Authenticate Cloud Backup.
Restore your backups.
Display and measure advertisements (when ads are enabled).
Improve app reliability and security.

We do not use your information to build marketing profiles or sell your data.

Third-Party Services

subsLexa uses trusted third-party services to provide certain functionality.

Supabase

If Cloud Backup is enabled, Supabase provides authentication and secure cloud storage.

Google AdMob

If advertising is enabled, Google AdMob may collect information necessary to provide, personalize (where permitted), and measure advertisements.

Data Retention

Local Data

All locally stored information remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app.

Cloud Backup

If Cloud Backup is enabled, your backup remains stored until you:

Delete it,
Replace it with a newer backup, or
Request its deletion.

You may contact us at any time to request deletion of your cloud data.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information.

Cloud Backup data is transmitted using encrypted HTTPS connections and is accessible only through your authenticated account.

Although we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the Internet is completely secure.

Children's Privacy

subsLexa is not intended for children under the age required by applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

Your Choices

You can:

Use the app without creating an account.
Disable Cloud Backup at any time.
Delete your cloud backup.
Reset your device's advertising identifier using your device settings.
Manage advertising preferences through your device or Google account, where available.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

Any updates will be posted on this page, and the "Last updated" date will be revised accordingly.
