Overview
moneyLexa is designed with privacy in mind.
Your financial information—including transactions, accounts, budgets, categories, invoices, and reports—is stored locally on your device by default.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not access your financial records unless you voluntarily enable Cloud Backup.
Some optional features use trusted third-party services, including:
- Google AdMob (advertisements)
- RevenueCat (subscription management)
- Supabase (optional cloud backup)
- Apple App Store / Google Play (payments)
Information We Collect
1. Financial Data (Stored Locally)
The following information is stored only on your device:
- Transactions
- Income & expenses
- Wallets
- Accounts
- Categories
- Budgets
- Scheduled payments
- Invoices
- Notes
This information never leaves your device unless you enable Cloud Backup.
2. Cloud Backup (Optional)
Cloud Backup is completely optional.
If you choose to enable Cloud Backup, you create an account and your encrypted app data is securely stored using Supabase.
Cloud Backup may store:
- Email address
- Encrypted backup of your financial data
You may disable Cloud Backup or delete your account at any time.
3. Purchases & Subscriptions
Premium subscriptions and lifetime purchases are processed securely by Apple App Store or Google Play.
Subscription management is handled using RevenueCat.
We may receive:
- Purchase status
- Subscription expiration date
- Anonymous customer identifier
- Purchased product information
We never receive your credit card or payment information.
Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple or Google.
4. Advertising
The free version of moneyLexa displays advertisements using Google AdMob.
Google AdMob may collect information including:
- Advertising Identifier (IDFA on iOS when permission is granted)
- Android Advertising ID
- Device information
- Approximate location (derived from IP address)
- Diagnostics
- Ad performance information
On iOS, moneyLexa requests permission using Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework before allowing personalized advertising.
If permission is denied, non-personalized advertisements may still be displayed.
Premium users do not see advertisements.

5. Notifications
moneyLexa can send reminders including:
- Daily reminders
- Budget alerts
- Scheduled payment reminders
These notifications are generated locally on your device.
You may disable notifications at any time.
6. Biometric Authentication
If enabled, moneyLexa can use:
- Face ID
- Touch ID
- Device Passcode
Authentication is performed entirely by your device.
We never receive or store biometric information.
7. Diagnostics
Apple, Google, and our third-party services may provide anonymous diagnostic information to help improve stability and performance.
These reports do not include your financial data.

- Provide the app's functionality
- Synchronize Cloud Backup (optional)
- Restore backups
- Validate subscriptions
- Display advertisements
- Send notifications

We never sell your personal information.
